Protected IaaS for service providers

Deliver protected IaaS on your terms

A secure HCI and IaaS platform for delivering virtual machines, storage and networking — with cyber protection, management and automation integrated into the same Acronis service motion.

Infrastructure choice is now a business decision

A provider-ready infrastructure service, not another disconnected stack

Customers are reassessing legacy virtualisation costs, hyperscaler complexity and where their workloads should run. Cyber Frame helps partners answer that demand.

  • Provision VMs, networks, block storage and object storage.
  • Deliver services through Acronis-hosted infrastructure or provider-hosted infrastructure.
  • Build multitenant offers with tenant isolation, quotas and customer self-service.
  • Integrate backup, security, disaster recovery options and RMM around the VM lifecycle.
  • Support direct, staged and backup-based workload migration.

Protected infrastructure, designed for service providers

Three foundations of the platform

Deliver IaaS

Create and manage compute, networking and storage through a central service-provider platform. Use delegated customer access and provider-defined limits to support low-touch service delivery while retaining governance.

Protect by design

Cyber Frame connects the infrastructure lifecycle to Acronis protection and operations. The exact package can include backup, anti-malware, behavioural protection, EDR/XDR capabilities, disaster recovery and RMM according to edition, location and licensed service plan.

Automate and integrate

Use OpenStack-compatible APIs and tools such as Terraform for infrastructure automation. Align usage, incidents and service entitlements with PSA and operational workflows.

Legacy infrastructure workloads moving through verified migration paths into a modern protected platform.

Key business cases

Where Cyber Frame earns its place

  • Modernise or replace VMware-based provider infrastructure.
  • Repatriate selected workloads from hyperscalers into more predictable regional infrastructure.
  • Launch a provider-branded multitenant cloud.
  • Run business applications, databases and development environments.
  • Host private AI applications, RAG platforms, vector databases and local automation stacks on controlled infrastructure.

South African regional context

Acronis lists Johannesburg as an example Cyber Frame Cloud location in its end-client data sheet. Regional availability depends on the service-provider offer and must be confirmed for the specific customer, workload and contract. Soteria Cloud will verify availability and architecture before a proposal is finalised.

A practical path to launch

From discovery to controlled waves

  1. 1Discover the workloads, dependencies, costs, recovery objectives and data-location requirements.
  2. 2Design the Cloud, Local or phased deployment model and define service responsibilities.
  3. 3Validate representative workloads through a proof of concept.
  4. 4Package the service tiers, usage rules, support scope and migration approach.
  5. 5Launch in controlled waves and optimise utilisation, protection and margin.

Why Soteria Cloud

A trusted Acronis partner and cloud aggregator

We help partners connect the Cyber Frame architecture to the commercial offer, migration plan, protection tier and operating model required to deliver it sustainably.

Frequently asked questions

Is Cyber Frame only a VMware replacement?

No. VMware modernisation is a major use case, but Cyber Frame is designed as a service-provider IaaS platform for VMs, storage, networking, multitenancy, customer self-service and integrated protection.

What is the difference between Cloud and Local?

Cyber Frame Cloud uses Acronis-hosted regional infrastructure and supports a fast, consumption-led launch. Cyber Frame Local runs on qualified provider-controlled infrastructure for deeper control over location, performance and economics.

Does Cyber Frame include backup and security?

Cyber Frame VMs are designed with integrated Acronis protection. The exact backup storage, disaster recovery, EDR/XDR, RMM and managed-service scope must be stated in the selected package because availability and billing can vary.

Can customers manage their own resources?

Yes. Cyber Frame supports delegated access and self-service within provider-defined quotas, roles and policies.

Can workloads move in phases?

Yes. Direct, staged, backup-based and selective migration approaches support different downtime, validation and source-access requirements.

Is Johannesburg available?

Acronis lists Johannesburg as an example Cyber Frame Cloud location. The actual service availability, capacity and commercial offer must be confirmed for each opportunity.
